Karen has a broad consulting background in human resources and international education in both corporate and nonprofit organizations. Throughout her career – which has spanned temporary staffing, executive search, private sector, multinational and outplacement companies – Karen has honed her expertise in training, recruitment, and networking. Her global perspective has been enhanced by experiences as a host family, university exchange student, and expatriate.

Karen’s background:

– M.A. degree in International Commerce and Policy from George Mason University
– B.A. from the College of William and Mary
– Member of the Metro DC Chapter of the Society for Intercultural Education, Training & Research (SIETAR)
– Member of the DC Metro Chapter of the American Society of Training and Development (ASTD)
– Co-founder of the Benin Education Fund (BEF), a not-for-profit organization that provides educational support to at risk students in Benin, West Africa.
